In terms of internals, it ships with 6GB RAM (up from the standard V30's 4GB of RAM) and 256GB of internal memory, plus a premium pair of wired and wireless Bang & Olufson headphones.

Following in the footsteps of Chinese vendors including OnePlus and Xiaomi, LG has unveiled the Signature Edition as its limited edition model exclusively for the customers in South Korea.

LG Electronics Inc. said Thursday it will start the sales of its first luxury smartphone with a zirconium ceramic back. Ouchies! Don't worry, though, because LG says they will even engrave the device for you, so there's that.

The 6-inch smartphone comes with a OLED FullVison display with thin bezels, along with the dual-lens rear camera that has a very bright F1.6 aperture, also adopted on the V30 smartphone.

With only 300 units available, the "Signature Edition" will cost about W200 million (US$1=W1,095). Perhaps as a bit of a surprise, the smartphone will make its debut with Android 8.0 Oreo, which is now not available as an official release for LG's other handsets.

LG hasn't revealed any details about the processor of the Signature Edition. The smartphone is also expected to have connectivity options such as 4G, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v5.0 with BLE, NFC, and USB Type-C 2.0 with compatibility for USB Type-C 3.1.

The LG Signature Edition is an exclusive V30 made specifically for the South Korean market.
