Serena Williams is about to be a married woman

Tennis champion Serena Williams and Reddit co-founded Alexis Ohanian welcomed their first child together on September 1, and now they're making things official.

The couple were in New Orleans in October, scouting wedding locations, according to reports.

The wedding is planned with such secrecy that even the wedding guests, reported to include Beyonce, JAY-Z, Eva Longoria, Kris Jenner, Ciara and Meghan Markle, have no idea where its taking place, only the city. They have instructed Preston to fill the hall with thousands of dollars worth of crystals and flowers.

The bride-to-be and her guests, including Venus and Ciara, all stayed at the Baccarat Hotel and were transported around the Big Apple in a party bus, dropping them off at top seafood restaurant Legasea for a private dinner, followed by a night of clubbing.

It's also understood that guests on the day will be banned from posting anything on social media, as Serena is believed to have signed a deal with Vogue magazine to publish exclusive pictures of the big day. 'Both parents wouldn't dream of not having her there.

Approximately 250 people are expected to watch the couple get married and extra security has been brought in to keep any nosey onlookers out. "My mom says he's very considerate and when she said that to me, I was like you know he really is". I'm definitely coming back.

Ohanian proposed to the Olympic gold medalist, whose fortune is valued at £122 million, last December on a surprise trip to Rome. Dimitrov, who is 25, went on to date Russian tennis player Maria Sharapova, 30.
